Bethlehem Centre is a unique charitable organization in a beautiful setting on Westwood Lake. With a variety of meeting venues and guesthouses for 'cabin by the lake style' accommodations for organisations and community groups to deliver workshops, conferences and retreats. We offer event setup, housekeeping and a full-service kitchen that can serve homestyle cuisine for up to fifty people. It is a perfect alternative for groups to host day or overnight events.
The lakefront property itself is approximately eight acres that allow guests to be out in nature and explore the grounds, gardens, walking labyrinth and forest. The Centre also has a Gift Shop, a Spiritual lending library and a finger labyrinth museum.
Our work is powered by our three charitable purpose areas: spirituality, supporting people with differing abilities and leadership development. We welcome individuals and groups seeking a non-judgmental sacred place for contemplation, learning, and community. We hold the vision of ‘spirituality without borders’ and maintain the tradition of hospitality that has long been part of the Centre’s strength. The Centre is not associated with a particular faith tradition, rather is an inter-spiritual place that welcomes all.
We take pride in being an inclusive and caring employer that embraces the uniqueness and value of each human being. In that, we recognize that our individual differences make our strengths as a team. As the world continues to be disrupted, we continue to adapt and that includes building a team that can meet the challenges of today.
